The Boss who was on the 25th floor of the building, called up one of his blonde clerks on the ground floor for an important file.
Since it was rather urgent, the Boss told the clerk it was an emergency and that she should hurry with the file.
After more than 30 minutes, the blonde appears all tired and panting for breath.
The Boss asks her why she was panting and what caused the huge delay.
She replies, “Sir, when I went to the lift it said, ‘During an emergency please use the staircase’!!!”

While having their evening dinner together,
a little girl looked up at her father and asked,
“Daddy, you’re the boss in our family, right?”
The father was very pleased to hear it and confidently replied, “Yes my little princess.”
The girl then continued, “That’s because mommy put you in charge, right?”

I was under a lot of pressure, but things seem to be flowing well now. I’ve got a firm grip on the situation and am seeing some good volumes & output. It may take a while to complete, but it’s important to take one’s time to stay focused on objectives.
I expect to wash my hands of the whole thing soon!
