This Woman Built A “Cat Ladder” For Strays So They Could Come In When It’s Cold Outside

In Turkey, a compassionate woman devised a brilliant solution to aid freezing stray cats during an exceptionally cold winter.  Sebnem Ilhan, a dentist in Tekirdag, constructed a cat ladder leading into her abode, providing a warm haven for the felines.

Concerned for the homeless cats suffering in the chill, Ilhan transformed her home into a winter refuge. To ease potential concerns from neighbors, she adorned the ladder with flower pots, hoping it would go unnoticed.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, with numerous cats taking advantage of the cozy sanctuary.

Ilhan’s benevolence extends beyond the ladder; she also volunteers at a local rescue, caring for stray dogs and cats.

Her wish is for all animals to be content, free from hunger and thirst, acknowledging that this world is not exclusively for humans.

Dog stands guard over deceased owner’s grave for seven years

For 6 years, a dog named Capitan slept on his owner’s grave every night.

His owner, Miguel Guzman, passed away in 2006. Capitan disappeared after the family attended the funeral, and despite their efforts to search for him, he remained unseen.

A week later, some people at the cemetery spotted Capitan lying on the grave and contacted the groundskeeper.

The family was notified and took him home. However, each night Capitan would cry and scratch at the door, only returning home in the morning.

It was discovered that Capitan would walk 3 miles back to the cemetery each night to guard his master’s grave.

This continued for 7 years, with the cemetery keeping the gates open until Capitan arrived promptly at 6 pm.

He would sleep there all night, guarding the grave until the groundskeeper opened the gate in the morning.
