Teenager makes teacher’s life hell every day, so dad shows to school to teach him a lesson

When a Texas father discovered his 17-year-old son was misbehaving at school, he considered the worst punishment he could dish out.

He thought of taking his cell phone away or grounding him but then had an ingenious idea that parents all over the world are congratulating him on.

The teacher had on several occasions told the family that their teenage son, Brad, talked too much during class.

So his dad, Bradley, decided to give his talkative son an ultimatum.

“For some reason, I said, ‘Hey, if we get another call, I’ll show up at school and sit next to you in class,'” Dad Brad said, according to Buzzfeed.

His son didn’t think he was serious and kept disrupting his physics class, which continued to disturb the teacher and pupils.

But when Dad Brad got another call about his son’s disruptive behavior, it was time to keep his word.

It wasn’t something Dad Brad wanted to do, but he had to shock his son into behaving.

“Friday is my only day off, so my wife wakes me up and says, ‘Brad, it’s time for you to go to school.’ I was like, ‘Oh no, what have I done?'” the Dad said.

The next day, student Brad walked into his physics class as usual and was horrified to see his father waiting for him at his desk.

“I didn’t even notice him until after I had said hi to all of my friends, but I was super shocked,” the teen said according to Buzzfeed.

The other teenagers in the class enjoyed seeing Brad suffer with his dad sitting next to him and had a good laugh at his expense.

Brad’s sister, Mollie, also had a good laugh at her dad showing up in Brad’s class and shared the story on social media.

“My dad told my brother that if he got another call from the physics teacher complaining he would sit in his class… Dad got another call,” Molli wrote in his Twitter post.

Even the mother, Denise Howard, posted about her husband’s actions.

“The Howard men are famous,” Bradley’s mother said. “We had a lot of fun with it, but more than anything we hope we don’t get any more calls about Bradley interrupting in physics class!”

Like his wife, Brad Senior hopes this is a one-off as he wasn’t quite ready to enter a high school classroom.

Dad said the physics teacher was grateful, but added, “I pray it was a one-time thing,” he said. “I don’t think I would ever do it again.”

It’s so good to see parents follow through on their threats. Consistency and teaching your teen to respect teachers is so vital.
