Can YOU solve this McDonald’s maths puzzle?

The above quiz was posted on a McDonald’s international website. Of course, most people who played it thought they had it all wrapped up. But…surprise…not everyone got the correct answer because like all great quizzes, this too happened to be a trick question.

here we go!

Hint: The only way you wouldn’t have got the right answer would have been if you missed the fact that there were two packets of fries in row 3 and only one in row four.

From the first line, you can tell that each drink is worth 10, while in the second line you can decipher that a burger is worth five.

On the third line – remembering that there is a total of four packets of chips – you can see that each packet of chips is worth one.

Finally, applying the rule that multiplication comes before addition, you can multiply the chips by the drink, totaling 10, before adding the burger, giving the answer 15.
