A family is driving along on holiday when a frog suddenly hops onto the road.
The husband, who’s behind the wheel, slams on the brakes just in time.
Feeling compassionate, he gets out, carefully picks up the frog, and carries it to safety on the side of the road.
Grateful, the frog looks up at him and says, “Thank you! As a reward, I’ll grant you one wish.”
The man thinks for a moment and says, “Please make my dog win the next big race.”
The frog nods. “Sure, let me take a look at him.”
The car door opens, and out limps the dog—on three legs, waddling under its own weight, barely managing to move.
The frog stares. Blinks. Takes a deep breath. Then says, “Listen… this might be a bit beyond my skill set. Maybe you’d like to wish for something else?”
The man shrugs. “Alright, then make my wife win the next beauty contest in town.”
The frog nods. “Fair enough. Let’s see her.”
The wife steps out of the car and walks over.
The frog stares again. Blinks harder. Rubs its tiny green temples. Then, with a sigh, it turns back to the man and says,
“Uh… you mind if I take another look at that dog?”
A Talking Frog.
A 72-year-old man named Mark wanted to spend the weekend away from his family, so he decided to rent a cabin upstate and spend the mini-vacation fishing.
He loves to fish because it helps to relax his nerves.
Early on Saturday morning, the man got into the water with his boat and began fishing but didn’t manage to catch anything.
After waiting in his boat for hours, he heard a strange voice.
“Please, pick me up,” the voice sweetly said.
Mark thought he was dreaming and continued fishing.
He finally caught a big fish and as he celebrated he heard the voice again.
Only this time, it was a bit louder.
“Pick me up,” said the voice.
Mark was losing his mind at this point and was searching for what was talking.
Unfortunately, he found nothing.
He was ready to return to his cabin when he heard the voice again.
He quickly turned around and spotted a tiny frog on the surface of the water staring at him.
Mark was shocked.
After a few minutes of silence, Mark asked the frog if it was talking to him and the creature replied: “Yes, I’m talking to you. Pick me up then, kiss me, and I’ll turn into the most beautiful woman you have ever seen.”
The frog kept trying to persuade Mark to kiss it, promising to become the most beautiful woman in the entire world.
The frog teased, “I’ll make sure that all your friends are envious and jealous because I will be your bride.”
Mark stared at the frog for a moment and immediately picked it up and threw it into his pocket.
The frog got angry and yelled at Mark, calling him stupid for missing out on such a fantastic offer.
The frog asked why he would give up having a beautiful woman by his side.
Mark opened his pocket, looked at the frog, and said, “Nah, at my age, I’d rather have a talking frog.”
