A woman in Melbourne, Jane Sayner, received the surprise of her life when she inherited the house she had been renting for over 20 years.
Sayner discovered the two-bedroom unit in St. Albans through a local newspaper listing and instantly fell in love with its cozy charm and garden.
She had always paid her landlord, John Perrett, $200 per week and had developed a friendly relationship with him.
Perrett, an 83-year-old philanthropist diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, decided to leave the house to Sayner, recognizing her love for the property and her dedication to transforming the yard into a beautiful garden.
This unexpected gift allowed Sayner, a 74-year-old retiree, to finally enjoy her life and relax after years of hard work at a market in Epping.

A girl in my geography class had to bring her newborn to class today.
The baby started crying in the middle of our quiz.
When she took him out to hold him, my professor insisted that he wouldn’t mind feeding the baby and rocking his car seat until she was done.
This is my so so awesome, sweet professor, on his knees.
